The trade turnover between China and Russia in January-November 2023 increased by 26.7%, amounting to a record $ 218.17 billion, RIA Novosti reports, citing statistics from the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China.
China imported $100.33 billion worth of goods to Russia during the reporting period, an increase of 50.2% compared to the same period in 2022. Supplies from Russia to China increased by 11.8%, amounting to 117.84 billion dollars.
Separately, in November, the trade turnover between the two countries reached almost $ 21.5 billion. Russia imported $11.2 billion worth of goods to China, and China imported $10.3 billion worth of goods to Russia.
By the end of 2022, the trade turnover between Russia and China increased by 29.3% and amounted to a record 190.271 billion dollars.
The leaders of Russia and China had previously set the task of doubling trade turnover, bringing it from $100 billion per year in 2018 to $200 billion by 2024. Thus, the goal set by the leaders of the two countries for 2024 has already been achieved.
