The Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration wants two currently closed automobile border crossings with Belarus (Bobrovniki-Berestovitsa and Kuznica Białostocka-Bruzgi) to reopen on November 17. The corresponding draft law was published on the website of the Polish State Legislation Center, according to the PAP news agency.
According to the draft regulation, border traffic will resume on November 17, 2025, at two automobile border crossings.
The first of these will be the Bobrovniki-Berestovitsa border crossing, which will open with restrictions on freight traffic—only for vehicles registered in EU member states, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) — parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation—and passenger traffic, including buses.
The second border crossing "Kuznya Belostotskaya" - "Bruzgi" will be open only to passenger transport, excluding bus traffic.
"The planned measures are aimed at resuming the flow of people and goods, which is a response to the expectations of the social sector, in particular a large group of entrepreneurs, carriers, and people traveling from Belarus to Poland for work," the project's rationale states.
