More than two thousand heavy trucks have accumulated at three checkpoints of the Polish-Ukrainian border. This is reported by the "European Truth" with reference to the authorities of Ukraine. The checkpoint is blocked by Polish cargo carriers, who demand the resumption of restrictions on the work of Ukrainian drivers.
The report says that representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure, as well as employees of the Association of International Road Transport, brought water, medicines and food to the border and distributed them to drivers.
At least 2.1 thousand trucks are now at the blocked checkpoints. Previously, 680 trucks passed through Dorogusk—Yagodin per day, now this number has significantly decreased. Only a few dozen cars can cross the border at this checkpoint now. Two other blocked checkpoints "Korcheva—Krakovets" and "Rava-Russian—Grebennoe" were in a similar situation. On the Polish side, 700 and 600 trucks have accumulated here, respectively.
Recall that the strike of Polish carriers at the three largest checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border has been going on since November 6. For a long time, drivers are in conditions of low temperature and unsanitary conditions. Last week, the Ukrainian authorities announced the death of two Ukrainian truckers at the border.
