Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 744 dated November 1, 2023 amended the government decree on the issues of mandatory disinfection of vehicles, the National Legal Portal reports
The document notes that vehicles are subject to mandatory disinfection when entering the Belarusian territory through the checkpoints "Benyakoni", "Grigorovshchina", "Kamenny Log", "Kozlovichi", "Kotlovka", "Privalka". And also at the checkpoints "Novaya Guta" and "Urbana", when transport communication will resume here.
A number of issues related to the implementation and use of electronic control stamps have also been settled, which are confirmation of the conclusion of a contract for the provision of paid services for the disinfection of vehicles and their payment, a form has been established for these stamps.
As indicated in the resolution, it is possible to purchase the appropriate brand through an electronic information system, as well as in self-service terminals directly at checkpoints.
The document states that the border guard officer will be obliged to check the stamp from the driver or owner of the vehicle that enters the territory of Belarus, violate its integrity and return it to the bearer or cancel it.
The resolution came into force on November 4 of this year.
