In the Altai Republic, spring restrictions for trucks will start on April 11 and end on May 11, it follows from the relevant decree of the republican Government, the Association of International Automobile Carriers writes.
Thus, from April 11 to May 11, the passage of trucks will be restricted on all roads of regional importance in the Altai Republic.
During this time, only those vehicles whose axle load does not exceed the following values will be able to continue transportation in the same mode: 5 tons for a single axle, 4 tons for a two—axle truck, 3 tons for a three—axle truck.
Trucks carrying out the delivery of food, medicines, fuel, lubricating oils and special liquids, mail, as well as agricultural goods — seeds, fertilizers, animals - will traditionally be allowed to go beyond the specified weight norms.
In other cases, carriers will have to issue a special permit with compensation for possible damage caused to roads.
In order to ensure compliance with spring restrictions, during the entire month from April 11 to May 11, weight and size control over trucks will be strengthened in the republic.
